Amanda Castignetti - G14U Head Coach for 2023-24
Amanda played 4 years at Shattuck St. Mary's Prep school in MN, winning 3 National Championships at the U19 Tier I level. She was a four-year starter at RPI as a Division I athlete, majoring in Environmental Engineering. Amanda started coaching with Clifton Park in 2012 and helped start the Girls Dynamo Tier I Program in 2014. This group went on to win 3 EJPHL titles and have 4 state tournament runs, placing 2nd place in two of them. Most recently, Amanda has led our 12U Girls to back to back state tournament appearances (2021 & 2022) with a semi-final finish in 2022.
Amanda’s Strengths include teaching the fundamentals (skating, passing, scoring) to players to establish a solid foundation in the game of hockey and create a fun atmosphere to encourage the growth and development in years to come. As 14U head coach in the 2022-23 season, Amanda is looking forward to building off of the recent success of our program and introducing offensive, defensive, and special teams systems to help our girls thrive at the next level.
